This policy explains how Calisthentials (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit calisthentials.com or buy from our store. We’re based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
– Order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the items you buy.
– Payment details: payments are processed by our payment providers (WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe, and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
– Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
– Messages: anything you send us through our contact form or by email.
– Newsletter: your email address if you sign up for our emails.
– Reviews: your name, review text, and any photos you upload with a product review.
– Usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, and similar information collected through cookies and analytics tools.
2. How we use your information
– To process, ship, and track your orders, and to send order and shipping updates.
– To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds.
– To send marketing emails if you’ve opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
– To understand how our site is used and improve it.
– To protect our site and customers from fraud, spam, and security threats.
– To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers that help us run the store, and only what they need to do their job:
– WooPayments (Stripe) and PayPal, to process payments.
– Shipping carriers and our fulfilment partner Printful, to make and deliver your order.
– Mailchimp, to send emails you’ve signed up for.
– Google (Google Analytics and Site Kit, and Google for WooCommerce), for site analytics and product listings.
– Wordfence and Imunify, for website security.
– Our web hosting provider, which stores the site’s data.
Some of these providers are outside Canada, including in the United States, so your information may be processed there. We don’t sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. You can choose which non-essential cookies to allow through the cookie banner on our site, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, generally up to 7 years. We keep account details until you ask us to delete your account, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
6. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, security plugins, and trusted payment processors to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email us at contact@calisthentials.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our store isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
